Location: Cullompton and surrounding areas

Are you passionate about education and supporting young people who face barriers to learning? We are seeking a committed and empathetic 1:1 Outreach Tutor to work with students in the Cullompton area who are currently outside of mainstream education.
About the Role:
This is a rewarding opportunity to provide personalised, one-to-one tuition to learners in their homes or community settings. You will help students re-engage with education, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored lessons in core subjects (e.g., English, Maths, Science)
Support students with SEND, SEMH, or those at risk of exclusion
Create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
Liaise with schools, parents/carers, and local authorities
Track and report on student progress
Requirements:
Teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) or relevant tutoring experience
Experience working with vulnerable or disengaged learners
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to individual student needs
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
