Prospero Teaching is currently on the lookout for graduates with a keen interest in education to join a Secondary School in North London. Are you interested in working as a teaching assistant in a secondary school where there may be opportunities to train to teach in the future?
In addition to academic excellence, we value strong communication skills and a dedicated approach to supporting students' learning journeys. If you're a graduate who meets these criteria and is eager to make a positive impact in a school setting, we'd love to hear from you.
WHAT DOES THE GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT ROLE INVOLVE:
* Supporting the class teacher and students during lessons
* 1 a rapport with 5 - 6 students with specific needs and implementing strategies to nurture, engage and raise attainment in their secondary years
* 1:1 tuition sessions supporting your subject specialism
* Running intervention groups in your subject area to build their knowledge of the subject
WHAT SUPPORT WILL I BE GIVEN AS A GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT?
* You'll be given training, guidance and support by an experienced consultant at Prospero and our Training and Development Team (all experienced teachers) as well as from the school themselves.
* A programme of FREE Training and CPD sessions are also offered.
GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT:
Full-time school hours, 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday.
You will be required to run an after-school club once a week until 4.30pm and attend a departmental meeting once a week.
The role is paid weekly at a daily rate of £95.29 to £105 per day and can become a permanent post in the future. PROSPERO TEACHING IS ABLE TO OFFER THE FOLLOWING SUCCESSFUL TEACHING ASSISTANT APPLICANTS:
