Location: Christchurch
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: FULL TIME- SEPTEMBER 2026 START

Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference in education? GSL Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in CHRISTCHURCH to recruit a dedicated full-time Learning Support Assistant.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build meaningful experience in a primary school setting, particularly those considering a future in teaching or teacher training.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll play a vital part in helping students succeed both academically and personally. This is a varied, rewarding role where no two days are the same.

You will be:

Supporting students with additional needs, including those with EHCPs
Providing in-class support across a range of subjects
Delivering small-group and 1:1 interventions
Encouraging confidence, engagement and positive behaviour for learning
Working closely with teaching staff and the SEN team to support progress
This position offers hands-on classroom experience and is ideal for aspiring teachers looking to gain invaluable school-based experience before starting teacher training.
