Production Operative – Chessington
Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting experienced Production Operatives to join a highly prestigious and unique warehouse operation, based in Chessington.
Our client specialises in the production of a specific genre of books, which are distributed worldwide.
Role Overview
The role primarily involves working alongside a large conveyor belt, selecting books from pallets and placing them into boxes. As boxes move along the conveyor, you will remove and organise books to ensure each box contains a complete, correctly sequenced collection.
Once packed accurately, boxes will be placed onto pallets ready for wrapping and dispatch. You may also be required to assist with other basic warehouse duties, although the role is predominantly focused on picking and packing.
Key Requirements

Strong attention to detail is essential, as each box must contain a full and correctly ordered set of books
*
Some manual handling is required, with lifting of up to approximately 20kg
*
Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment is advantageous, though full training will be provided
Working Hours
*
Monday to Friday
*
08:00 – 16:30
*
30-minute unpaid lunch break
Pay Rate
*
£13.00 per hour
