A well‑established precision engineering company is looking for a reliable and motivated CNC Lathe Operator to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone confident in operating CNC lathes who wants long‑term stability and the opportunity to develop into more advanced responsibilities over time.
About the Role
As a CNC Lathe Operator, you will be responsible for:
• Operating CNC lathes to produce high‑quality precision components
• Reading and understanding engineering drawings
• Performing basic tool offsets and adjustments (training provided if needed)
• Carrying out in‑process inspection using micrometers, verniers, gauges
• Maintaining consistent quality and working to tight tolerances
• Working as part of a small, supportive engineering team
Experience Required
• Proven experience operating CNC lathes (Fanuc, Siemens, Mazak, Haas or similar)
• Ability to work to tight tolerances
• Confident using measuring equipment
• Good understanding of machining principles
• Strong attention to detail and a positive work ethic
Development Opportunities
While the role will begin with operation only, there is a clear pathway to:
• CNC setting
Training and support will be provided as you progress.
