We are currently recruiting for a qualified SEND Teacher to join a specialist school in Solihull on a full-time basis. This role for the remainder of the academic year with the potential to be full time in September.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established special school that supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD. We are looking for someone who has primary experience and is passionate about helping the children at this school to achieve their full potential.
The Role for this school:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs.
* Support primary pupils with a range of complex learning and communication needs.
* Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
* Use a variety of teaching strategies, including sensory and structured learning approaches.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* QTS
* Previous experience teaching primary-aged pupils
* Experience working with children with SEND
* A strong understanding of ASD, communication needs, and EHCPs
* Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
* A patient, flexible, and caring approach
