Zenith People are delighted to be partnering with our client to recruit a proactive, time‑served Electrical Biased Maintenance Technician. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well‑established engineering team within a business that genuinely invests in its people, equipment, and future. Key Responsibilities:-

* Maintain and repair plant and equipment, responding to both reactive breakdowns and planned preventative maintenance.

* Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new and existing machinery.

* Take a proactive approach to identifying improvements, safety enhancements, and long‑term engineering solutions.

* Diagnose electrical faults, identify root causes, and communicate findings clearly to relevant colleagues.

* Work collaboratively with the lead technician, maintenance team, and wider departments to ensure smooth operations.

* Contribute to the development of other engineers through knowledge sharing and teamwork.

Qualifications Required:-

* ONC/OND/HND/HNC/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (Electrical bias essential)

* Strong electrical fault‑finding skills – *Training can be provided on Siemens PLC’s where necessary, in the form of a course*

* Experience in heavy engineering electrical maintenance or similar environments.

* Confident working with AC/DC motors, single‑phase and three‑phase systems.

* A proactive mindset with the ability to spot issues early and take initiative.
