Procurement Buyer
Location: Warwick - hybrid
Contract: 12 Months - Inside IR35
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours/week (7.5 hours per day)
Rate: Umbrella: £358 per day OR PAYE: £265 per day
Our client, a global Energy Technology company, is looking to recruit a Procurement Buyer
for their Warwick location. With a 150-year legacy of innovation, they are at the forefront of energy transformation, de carbonization, and cutting-edge technologies, driving impactful change across the industry.
The Role - A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Procurement Buyer you'll play a key role in managing procurement activities, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with business goals.
How You'll Make an Impact
Manage a diverse supplier portfolio and lead sourcing activities
Drive price negotiations and resolve invoicing/payment discrepancies
Ensure timely PO issuance and manage procurement workload effectively
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (MRPCs, requisitioners)
Ensure compliance with Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) processes and procurement policies
Support supplier lifecycle activities (qualification, selection, evaluation, development)
Maintain supplier performance systems and ensure procurement transparency
Manage procurement documentation and contract systems
Support or lead Procurement Business Plan initiatives
What We're Looking For
5+ years' experience in Direct Procurement and need to have Bachelor's degree.
Strong SAP transactional experience (PS1 ATLAS module preferred)
Advanced Excel skills (Power BI & analytics mindset highly desirable)
Experience handling large volumes of data with a structured, analytical approach
Background in aerospace or industrial sectors
Highly Desirable Experience
Knowledge of complex components such as castings and forgings
Strong experience with C-class commodities
A hands-on, solution-driven professional who thrives with minimal supervision
