Electrical Maintenance Engineer

The maintenance engineering function supports the safe and reliable operation of site equipment through a combination of planned maintenance, fault response, and continuous improvement activity.

The team works across a range of production and support areas, maintaining electrical and associated systems to ensure consistent performance and minimal disruption to operations.

What the Team Does

Day-to-day activity is a balance of preventative maintenance and reactive work, responding to issues as they arise while also working to reduce the likelihood of repeat problems.

Typical responsibilities across the team include:

Diagnosing and resolving issues across plant and equipment
Completing scheduled maintenance to support operational reliability
Recording maintenance activity within site systems
Supporting planning and prioritisation of workload
Managing and sourcing required spare parts and materials
Working alongside external specialists when neededThere is also an ongoing focus on identifying improvements to equipment performance and maintenance processes.

How the Team Operates

The environment is production-driven, and priorities can shift quickly depending on operational demands. The team works collaboratively to respond to these changes, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.

Key focus areas include:

Maintaining safe working practices at all times
Delivering consistent and reliable workmanship
Applying a structured approach to problem solving

The team brings a mix of experience across electrical and general engineering disciplines, with the ability to work both independently and collectively to resolve issues and maintain equipment standards.
