Water Hygiene Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Water Hygiene Technician to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

As a Water Hygiene Technician, you will:

Travel to customer sites to ensure water systems meet safety and compliance standards.
Inspect and clean water storage vessels, including leading tank chlorinations.
Install and service Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs).
Conduct routine monitoring tasks in line with HSG 274 Part 2, including flushing outlets, temperature monitoring, descaling showerheads, and flushing pressure vessels.
Perform sampling for closed water systems.
Use the SimPRO system to manage your workload efficiently.
Identify potential issues and proactively provide solutions.
Maintain a thorough understanding of HSE's ACoP L8 and HSG274 to uphold our professional and compliant reputation.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

A full, clean UK driving licence.
City & Guilds Legionella Awareness Training, equivalent qualifications, or relevant industry experience.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of compliance and professionalism.

Day-to-Day

Your day will be varied and engaging, involving:

Visiting different customer sites to carry out inspections and maintenance.
Ensuring water systems are safe and compliant through routine monitoring and cleaning tasks.
Collaborating with a supportive team and using cutting-edge technology to manage your tasks.
Building strong relationships with clients and delivering exceptional service.
