Butcher/Cutter

We are recruiting for a Butcher / Cutter to join a long-established and rapidly growing meat processing business that is currently expanding under new ownership.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual who enjoys working in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment and wants to be part of a business with strong long-term growth and development opportunities.

The role focuses on precision cutting, preparation, and supporting both retail and catering supply production.

Key responsibilities as Butcher/Cutter

Steak cutting and general meat preparation
Chicken filleting and portioning
Working across beef, pork, lamb, and poultry
Supporting catering and retail production lines
Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety compliance
Working efficiently within a production-focused team environment
Ensuring consistency, quality, and speed in output
What we’re looking for in a Butcher/Cutter

Have 1–2 years’ experience in butchery, meat processing, or food production
Possess strong knife skills and attention to detail
Be reliable, hardworking, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
Be adaptable and able to work well within a team environment
Have experience in retail butchery, wholesale, catering supply, or factory processing (all considered)
Working hours:

Monday, Thursday & Friday: 5:00am – 3:00pm
Occasional Saturday mornings
Overtime opportunities may be available
