We’re recruiting an experienced Skilled Butcher to join a well-established and growing wholesale operation based in Boston.
This is a hands-on butchery role focused on quality, consistency, and craftsmanship, supplying high-quality products to hospitality and catering customers.
This is not a production-line role - it will suit a butcher who takes pride in their work and delivers consistently high standards.

What you’ll be doing as Skilled Butcher
This is a modern butchery environment focused on skilled meat preparation and order fulfilment, supplying high-quality products. It is not a slaughterhouse role, but a clean, structured operation where craftsmanship and consistency are key.
You will be responsible for preparing a variety of meat products to wholesale and customer-specific requirements within a fast-paced butchery environment.
Preparing and portioning beef, lamb, pork, and chicken
Working with primal and part-processed cuts
Producing wholesale cuts and bespoke customer orders
Preparing value-added products such as mince, burgers, and sausages
Operating butchery machinery safely and efficiently
Receiving and checking stock deliveries
Labelling and preparing orders for dispatch
Using internal systems to process orders and print labels
Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and product quality
What we’re looking for a Skilled Butcher:
Proven experience in butchery (retail, wholesale, or food production)
Strong knife skills and product knowledge
Experience preparing value-added and processed products
Confidence using butchery equipment and machinery
Good attention to detail and commitment to high standards
Ability to work efficiently within a team environment
Basic IT skills for order processing and labelling
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm
Working Pattern: 5 days from 6 (Sunday to Friday)
