Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
£12.86 – £14.00 per hour DOE
Temp to Perm

We are proud to be working with a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Ely. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to expand their Workshop team with a reliable and hands-on individual who is looking to secure a long-term position within a stable and supportive environment.

This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity with the potential for permanent employment following a successful probation period.

Duties Include:

Supporting general workshop production, including unpacking and re-packaging doors and door sets
Sorting deliveries into the correct locations and checking labels to ensure accurate stock allocation
Inspecting stock for damaged or missing items and carrying out regular stock checks
Moving and organising stock manually and using lifting equipment/forklift trucks where required
Assisting with general warehouse duties and maintaining housekeeping and Health & Safety standards
Operating woodworking machinery where required
Requirements:

Previous warehouse or production experience preferred
Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling duties
Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence with operating experience required
Reliable, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
