Our client owns and operates the Fawley oil refinery and is seeking a proactive and organised Internal Communications and Events Assistant to support the delivery of effective communication and engagement across site.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Internal Communications Co-ordinator in delivering communications across a range of established channels
* Assist with creating and publishing content across platforms including digital signage, internal communication tools, SharePoint, email, and newsletters
* Contribute to internal campaigns and employee engagement activities
* Provide support with the planning and delivery of site events
* Ensure all communications align with corporate brand standards and guidelines
* Offer guidance on brand consistency and messaging where appropriate
* Support the Events Co-ordinator and provide cover during periods of absence
Skills and Experience
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Well organised with the ability to prioritise effectively
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Creative and proactive approach
* Confident communicating with a range of stakeholders
* Previous experience in a communications role is not essential; candidates with the right attitude, aptitude, and enthusiasm to develop and grow in the role will be considered

* Willingness to learn and develop new skills
* Flexible, positive, and reliable team player
This is a full time contract job, 37.5 hours per week, based fully on-site (SO45 1TX)
