We are looking for CNC Miller/Turner Machinist for a permanent position based with our clients in Leeds
Immediate start available (subject to interview process)
Salary is up to £36,000 per annum (depending on experience)
This will be working 36.5 hours per week - 4 day working week.
Working hours are Monday to Wednesday 7am - 4:45pm & Thursday 7am to 4:15pm
Job Specification Day to Day:
Responsible for setting and operating CNC mill and turning machines
Ensure tight tolerances on a range of machinery
Achieve manufacturing hours and deadlines to meet the customers' needs
Completion of inspection using Renishaw probe and various hand measuring devices
Adherence to all Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
Ensure high levels of quality and workmanship are maintained
Support other departments in the manufacture of products
Carry out basic machine maintenance including metal working fluid checks and pre-use safety checks
Complete paperwork to maintain complete traceability
Work in line with the companies Quality manuals and MOD standards
Edit CNC programmes using Heidenhain, Siemens or Haas control for machining centresEssential Requirements
Apprentice trained as minimum
Competent using Heidenhein iTNC 640 & Hass G-code control system
Various materials including carbon steel and stainless steel
Manufacturing to engineering drawings
