WOOD MACHINIST / SAW OPERATIVE
Salary: £14 ph
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Contract: Temp to Perm
Hexagon Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Wood Machinist / Saw Operative to join a busy fabrication team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company with the potential for a permanent position.
Main Duties:
Operating saws and woodworking machinery
Building and fabricating products to required specifications
Ensuring all Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times
Using appropriate PPE during all tasks
Maintaining high quality and productivity standards
Problem solving and troubleshooting production issues
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Working closely with team leaders, managers and other departments
Requirements:
Experience operating saws or woodworking machinery preferred
Good attention to detail and ability to follow specifications
Strong awareness of health and safety in a workshop environment
Ability to work well within a team
