We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic Accounts team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, systems, and people, while playing a key role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.

The Role: -

As Payroll Administrator, you will take ownership of payroll processes and support the wider finance function by ensuring all payroll operations are delivered efficiently, securely, and in line with legislation.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Processing company payroll accurately and on schedule

- Preparing payroll reports for management, finance, and audits

- Producing statutory reports for HMRC and pension providers

- Supporting monthly payroll audits and year-end reporting including P60s and P11Ds

- Validating timesheets, overtime, bonuses, and deductions

- Maintaining compliance with GDPR and payroll regulations

- Administering People XD Payroll and Workforce Management systems

- Providing guidance and training to managers on payroll procedures and HRIS systems

- Support the Accounts department during busy periods. (Bookkeeping skills an advantage)

- On occasions help with goods in. Some lifting may be required

The Ideal candidate will have: -

- A proactive and dependable individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

- Previous experience within payroll administration

- A strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance

- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills

- Experience with HRIS/payroll systems such as People XD (desirable)

- A professional and confidential approach to handling sensitive data

- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
