Responsive Repairs Scheduler
Location: Cornwall
Contract Type: Temporary (1–2 Months)
Potential: Opportunity to become permanent
We are currently seeking an experienced and organised Responsive Repairs Scheduler to join a busy contractor based in Cornwall on a temporary basis, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.
The Role
You will play a key role in coordinating responsive repair works, ensuring operatives are efficiently scheduled while delivering excellent customer service to residents and clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Scheduling and allocating responsive repair appointments
* Managing diaries for engineers and operatives
* Liaising with tenants, clients, and subcontractors
* Handling incoming repair requests and updating systems accurately
* Monitoring job progress and ensuring works are completed within target timescales
* Supporting the repairs team with administrative duties as required
Requirements
* Previous experience in repairs scheduling, planning, or coordination
* Experience working within social housing, maintenance, or contractor environments is preferred
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Good IT skills and experience using scheduling systems
* A proactive and customer-focused approach
