This is a rewarding opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and helping them achieve positive outcomes in education.
About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support KS3 and KS4 pupils within a specialist PRU setting. The successful Learning Support Assistant will work closely with teachers to support learning, promote positive behaviour, and help pupils develop socially, emotionally, and academically.
Job Responsibilities of a Learning Support Assistant
Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEMH needs
Support KS3 and KS4 pupils within a PRU environment
Assist teachers with delivering engaging lessons
Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour effectively
Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
