Facilities Technician, Glasgow, Temp to Perm, £22.67 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) in line with site schedules and compliance requirements

* Respond to and resolve reactive maintenance issues efficiently and safely

* Maintain and repair plumbing and mechanical systems including pumps, pipework, valves, water systems and associated plant

* Support the day-to-day operation of the building and ensure minimal disruption to site operations

* Complete maintenance records, job sheets and compliance paperwork accurately

* Liaise with site management and subcontractors where required

* Ensure all works are completed in accordance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

* Strong plumbing and mechanical maintenance experience within a facilities management or building services environment

* Previous experience working on a static site is essential

* Experience carrying out both PPM and reactive maintenance tasks

* IPAF licence required

* 18th Edition qualification desirable but not essential

* Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills

* Able to work independently and as part of a wider maintenance team

* Immediately available or available within one week maximum

Desirable Experience:

* Experience within commercial building environments

* Multi-skilled maintenance background

* Familiarity with compliance procedures and permit-to-work systems
