Salary: Up to £28,000 + Monthly Production Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Location: Near Woking, Surrey (commutable from Guildford, Farnborough, Camberley, Aldershot, Basingstoke, Bracknell, Reading, Leatherhead and surrounding areas)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 16:00 (flexible start and finish times available)

Syntech Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a well-established engineering and manufacturing business in the search for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join their growing production team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience assembling mechanical or electro-mechanical products who enjoys hands-on work, working from drawings and procedures, and being part of a supportive manufacturing environment.

The Role

As an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you will work as part of an experienced production team assembling a range of precision products and sub-assemblies. You'll be involved in both mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly work, ensuring products are built to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

*

Assembly of mechanical and electro-mechanical products from engineering drawings and work instructions

*

Using hand tools, power tools, torque tools and assembly fixtures safely and correctly

*

Testing and inspecting assemblies using procedures, jigs and fixtures

*

Completing assembly work to production schedules and targets

*

Supporting the training of new team members when required

*

Following quality standards, ISO procedures and ESD controls

*

Maintaining accurate workmanship in line with engineering specifications

*

Working within clean room environments when required

*

Supporting wider production activities across the business

*

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area in line with 5S principles

What We're Looking For

*

Minimum 2 years' experience within a mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly environment

*

Experience using hand tools and assembly equipment

*

Ability to work independently whilst contributing positively to a team environment

*

Strong attention to detail and quality standards

*

Experience following assembly procedures and work instructions

*

Ability to read engineering drawings would be advantageous, but is not essential
