Grounds Maintenance Operative

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a busy team, delivering high-quality grounds services across social housing estates in the Crewe area.This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in maintaining green spaces, communal areas, and residential environments to a clean, safe, and visually appealing standard for tenants and the wider community.
Your new role

Carry out a full range of grounds maintenance duties across residential estates, including:
Grass cutting and lawn care
Hedge trimming and pruning
Strimming and edging
Weed control and spraying (where qualified)
Leaf clearance and seasonal work
Maintain communal outdoor areas to a consistently high standard
Ensure all work is completed in line with scheduled maintenance plans
Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and equipment safelyWhat you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, or landscaping
Good knowledge of plants, seasonal work, and outdoor maintenance practices
Full UK driving licence
PA1 / PA6 LicenceWhat you'll get in return
