Our client, a well-established and state-of-the-art workshop in Southampton, is actively recruiting to expand their team with a highly capable HGV Technician.
This role provides a prime chance to work in cutting-edge facilities, benefit from ongoing manufacturer training, and enjoy excellent career progression prospects.

* Competitive salary of £49,275 per annum, with potential earnings up to £55,000 based on performance and productivity
* Flexible shift patterns including Earlies or Days, with options for permanent late shifts or rotating schedules

Duties of a HGV Technician:
* Conduct maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of heavy goods vehicles
* Perform electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with company standards
* Carry out warranty work alongside routine servicing tasks
* Complete accurate digital job cards and work reports for all tasks undertaken
* Follow health and safety procedures maintaining high standards of quality and safety
* Collaborate efficiently within a workshop team to ensure work is completed to the highest standard
Requirements of a HGV Technician:
* Recognised Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
* Demonstrable experience as an HGV Technician, Plant Mechanic, or LCV Technician
* Full UK driving licence with the ability to work on heavy vehicles
* MOT licence is desirable but not essential; training is available if needed
* Strong team player with excellent attention to detail
* Flexible approach to working hours and shifts
* Eagerness to learn, develop, and progress within a reputable workshop environment
