Internal Sales Executive required!

Our client is a well-established mechanical engineering company supplying technical products and solutions to a diverse customer base.

On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit an experienced Internal Technical Sales Executive. The successful candidate will have experience in a technical engineering and/or mechanical environment and will be comfortable working with technical information to support customers in finding the right solution.

Package:

Working hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday
Salary of £30,000 - £35,000 (DOE)
20 days holiday + bank holiday
Company pension scheme
On-site parkingInternal Sales Executive - Responsibilities:

Handle incoming sales enquiries in a timely and professional manner
Manage and develop relationships with existing accounts
Understand customer requirements through effective questioning and communication
Recommend suitable technical/mechanical solutions based on client needs
Prepare and issue accurate quotations
Follow up quotations to progress opportunities through the sales pipeline
Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations, and orders
Liaise with internal engineering/production teams where required
Support overall sales growth through proactive account managementInternal Sales Executive - Requirements:

Experience in a technical, mechanical, or engineering-based environment
Knowledge of industrial equipment, pumps, or mechanical systems is highly advantageous
Previous experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing technical support
Experience producing quotations or working with CRM/sales systems
Strong communication skills with the ability to understand customer needs
Confident in handling enquiries and following up sales opportunities
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
