Do you hold a full UK license?

Attega Group is working on behalf of our client as their in-house recruitment provider.

We are currently recruiting for a Pump Engineer to join their team.

The main purpose of this role is to support the Pump Maintenance & Installation teams with maintenance on clean and waste water pumps.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £45,000 P/A, depending on experience, plus overtime, 20 days holiday, health care plus more

This role is full-time and permanent, Working 45 hours per week

Your responsibilities will include:

Service, maintain, and repair a wide range of domestic, commercial, and industrial pumping systems, including associated mechanical, electrical, and control components.
Diagnose faults, conduct investigations, and implement effective corrective actions.
Carry out installation, commissioning, and replacement of pumps, booster sets, pressurisation units, control panels, and related equipment.
Produce accurate service reports, commissioning documentation, and job sheets.
Liaise professionally with clients to provide updates, explain findings, and advise on recommended actions.
Maintain company tools, equipment, and stock levels, including monthly inventory checks.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental procedures and industry best
The ideal candidate:

Proven experience working with pumping systems, including installation, service, and fault diagnosis.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles (electrically competent).
Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.
conduct dynamic risks assessments
Excellent problem-solving abilities with a methodical and proactive approach to work.
Strong communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.
Full UK driving
