HGV Technician – Bus & Coach Fleet
Location: Andover
Shift: 4 on 4 off Shift Pattern
Salary: £51,438 + Overtime

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a professional engineering team maintaining a modern fleet of buses and coaches in Andover.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a stable 4 on 4 off shift pattern, strong earning potential and long-term career progression within a well-established transport operation.

The Role of the HGV Technician / PSV Technician

Routine servicing, maintenance and vehicle inspections
MOT preparation and defect rectification
Mechanical, electrical and diagnostic repairs
Fault finding using diagnostic equipment
Ensuring all work is completed to DVSA standards
Completing job cards and maintenance documentation accurately
Supporting vehicle reliability and fleet availability
Working safely and maintaining high workshop standards
What you’ll need as HGV Technician / PSV Technician

Previous experience as an HGV Technician, PSV Technician or Bus/Coach Engineer
NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification preferred
Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
Experience working on commercial vehicles, buses or coaches
Good understanding of DVSA compliance and maintenance standards
