Our client, an established main contracting based in the North West, are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. They have a reputation of delivering high-quality projects across the commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing projects from pre-construction through to completion, with project values ranging up to £50 million.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage construction projects from pre-construction through to handover
* Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards
* Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
* Manage project programmes, budgets, and procurement activities
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
* Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
* Monitor progress and provide regular project reports and updates
* Resolve site issues and ensure smooth project delivery
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Project Manager for a building contractor
* Experience delivering commercial, residential, or industrial projects
* Experience managing projects valued £10m – £50m
* Strong knowledge of construction management and project delivery
* Experience with JCT or NEC contracts
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar
* SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (preferred)
