The Role

Our client is seeking a Stock Controller to support stock accuracy and inventory control within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves carrying out regular stock counts, maintaining accurate system data, and ensuring stock reports are reliable to support operational efficiency across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular stock counts across the factory to maintain accurate inventory records.
Ensure correct stock rotation and identify stock discrepancies with Planning and Management teams.
Verify system-generated stock reports following stock counts.
Support additional product tracking activities during promotions or business requirements.
Maintain accurate and timely completion of stock transactions and paperwork.
Assist with general stock control and inventory integrity across the site.
Carry out additional duties as required by management.

Skills & Experience

Essential

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Reliable and organised approach to work.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Understanding of health & safety responsibilities within a manufacturing environment.
Willingness to undertake Level 2 Food Safety and Health & Safety training.

Desirable

Previous experience within a manufacturing or food production environment.
Understanding of stock control or warehouse processes.

Key Competencies

Accuracy and attention to detail.
Teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills.
Commitment to food safety, health & safety, and company procedures.
