Maintenance Supervisor – FM Service Provider – Knightsbridge, London – £55,000
CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join a premium commercial office building in Knightsbridge. This is a client-facing position within a small on-site engineering team, working alongside a Mechanical Engineer to deliver a first-class maintenance service. The successful candidate will be electrically biased, technically competent, and confident managing day-to-day site operations while maintaining strong relationships with the client. The role requires a hands-on supervisor who is comfortable making decisions, managing electronic logbooks and CAFM systems, and communicating effectively with both clients and contractors. This is a challenging but rewarding position with significant client interaction and responsibility.
Hours of Work
Monday – Friday - 08:00am – 17:00pm
Key Responsibilities
Supervising day-to-day engineering operations across the site
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
Managing electronic logbooks and CAFM systems
Issuing and controlling Permits to Work
Liaising directly with the client and attending regular meetings
Coordinating specialist contractors and monitoring service delivery
Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures and site regulations
Producing weekly and monthly reports
Supporting the Mechanical Engineer and maintaining a collaborative team environment
Identifying and escalating technical issues where necessary
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all works are completed to a high standardRequirements
Electrically qualified (City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 or equivalent)
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Ability to make decisions confidently and take ownership of site operations
Professional, approachable, and capable of building strong working relationships
