Sheffield & Surrounding Areas | In-Person | Flexible Hours | Supply Basis
are currently recruiting for experienced and compassionate Tutors to provide in-person tuition for children and young people outside of mainstream school settings across Sheffield and surrounding areas.
This role involves supporting students with a range of additional needs, including social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, EOTAS packages, SEND and students within alternative provision or PRU settings. Tuition may take place in students' homes, community settings or other agreed educational environments.
The successful candidate will be confident delivering tailored sessions that support both academic progress and student engagement, while building positive and professional relationships with young people who may have experienced barriers to education.
The successful candidate will:
Have experience working with children or young people with SEN, SEMH or within alternative provision settings
Be confident delivering personalised learning sessions
Have strong behaviour management and communication skills
Be adaptable, patient and able to build positive relationships
Be committed to supporting vulnerable students to achieve positive outcomes
Hold relevant teaching, tutoring or educational support experienceThis is an excellent opportunity for educators looking for flexible work while making a meaningful difference to students requiring specialist support outside of mainstream education.
