Certain Advantage is partnering with a key client to recruit a Naval Nuclear Project Manager. You’ll be responsible for coordinating, managing and scaling a large off‑site engineering delivery function.

What will you be doing?

Take full ownership of end-to-end engineering support delivery, ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective outcomes.
Lead and grow a large, multi-disciplinary on-site team in line with demand.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing a consistent on-site presence and fostering a professional, value-driven approach.
Support team expansion through recruitment, onboarding, and culture development to maintain cohesion.
Ensure all engineering data, records, and documentation are accurate, controlled, and aligned with client requirements.
Monitor performance, identify risks and opportunities early, and act to maintain delivery against KPIs.
Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and improve information management.
Identify and develop new opportunities, scaling successful initiatives.
Deliver against financial targets, including utilisation, budget control, and margin improvement.
A couple of things you should know:

Experience leading engineering delivery, multi‑disciplinary teams or large‑scale technical services within highly-regulated environments.
Ability to manage large operational teams, KPIs, and complex stakeholder relationships.
Understanding of engineering project lifecycle management and workflows.
Good background in risk and opportunity management, project accounting, work package management, resource and configuration management and scheduling.
During an interview, you may be asked about:

Your experience in Defence or Industrial environments.
Your ability to shape, expand and mature engineering support services
