Electrical Commissioning & Maintenance Engineer
Location: Doncaster (Field-Based)
Salary: Competitive
Contract: Full Time | Permanent
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Commissioning & Maintenance Engineer to join a growing engineering team supporting pumping station installations, commissioning and maintenance projects across Wales and the South West.
This is a field-based role working alongside Mechanical Engineers on the installation, servicing and commissioning of pumping equipment and associated electrical systems.
The role offers varied project work, national travel and long-term career development within a specialist engineering environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Attend customer sites across Wales and South West England
Carry out electrical works supporting pumping station installations and maintenance
Assist with commissioning and servicing of pumping equipment
Support breakdown and after-sales service activities when required
Complete site reports and obtain customer sign-off after each visit
Ensure tools, materials and equipment are prepared prior to attending site
Communicate effectively with customers, engineers and internal teams
Promote high standards of health & safety and company procedures What We’re Looking For
Experience working in a similar electrical maintenance or commissioning role
Experience with motors, pumps or industrial electrical systems (desirable)
Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Strong communication and teamwork skills Qualifications & Certifications
Electrical qualification to 17th or 18th Edition (BS7671)
C&G Level 3 – Inspection & Testing (desirable)
CSCS Card (desirable)
Confined Space Training (desirable)
First Aid qualification (desirable) What’s on Offer
