Quality Control (QC) Analyst

Type: 12-Month contract

Join our client's team as a Quality Control Analyst at their Grangemouth site! Key Responsibilities:

Conduct quality control analysis of samples, including in-process, final, occupational hygiene, and environmental samples.
Provide exceptional analytical support to manufacturing plants, addressing any equipment issues that arise.
Analyse and confirm product quality against predetermined manufacturing specifications.
Ensure all analytical equipment is calibrated and maintained per departmental quality systems.
Collaborate with the QC team to ensure timely reporting of sample results.

Who You'll Work With:

You will be part of a vibrant team working alongside both day and shift teams, contributing to a supportive environment focused on excellence.

What You Bring:

Analytical Expertise: Proficient in a range of techniques, particularly G.C. and HPLC operations.
Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organisation.
Organisational Skills: Strong planning and organisational abilities to manage your workload effectively.
Adaptability: Capability to prioritise tasks and operate efficiently under pressure, adjusting to varying production needs.

Experience:

Demonstrated operational experience with Agilent instrumentation.
Proven expertise in GC and HPLC maintenance and troubleshooting.
Experience with occupational hygiene monitoring and environmental sampling is a plus.
Familiarity with Agilent UPLC, including troubleshooting and maintenance, is desirable.

Education:

HNC or equivalent in a science or engineering-related discipline
