About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Engineer on behalf of a leading organisation within the lift industry. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing business, working on a varied portfolio of lift equipment.
You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the safe operation of lifts while delivering a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities of Lift Service Engineer:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across your assigned portfolio, ensuring equipment is safe, compliant, and reliable
Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and complete repairs within agreed SLAs
Aim to achieve first-time fixes to minimise downtime and disruption
Undertake minor repairs to maintain ongoing operation and prevent escalation
Accurately use field management systems to record work in real time and ensure job completion
Identify and report additional repair, upgrade, or modernisation opportunities
Support neighbouring areas where required
Participate in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours emergency support
Deliver excellent on-site customer service, maintaining a professional and approachable manner
Adhere to all health, safety, compliance, and quality standards at all times Minimum Skills / Experience Required for the Lift Engineer role:

NVQ Level 3 in Lift Service, Maintenance, or Repair
Solid experience as a Service or Callout Engineer
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
Full UK driving licence
Customer-focused approach
Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Adaptable, proactive, and solution-oriented
Comfortable using digital field service management tools What's on Offer:
