Russell Taylor are partnering with a leading UK manufacturing business to recruit a Senior QA Compliance Officer to join their Quality team based near Preston.

The Role

Reporting to the QA & Compliance Manager, you will ensure GMP compliance across quality systems, supporting deviation management, CAPA effectiveness, batch record review and change control processes. You will also be responsible for 2 direct reports.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and assess deviations, incidents, complaints and change controls
• Support root cause investigations and CAPA effectiveness checks
• Review pharmaceutical batch records prior to release
• Conduct quality impact assessments
• Support vendor qualification and GMP compliance activities
• Compile and support Product Quality Review (PQR) reporting
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and customers on quality issues

About You

• Experience in a QA role within a GMP-regulated environment
• Strong knowledge of GMP and quality systems
• Experience with deviations, investigations and CAPA processes
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Degree (or equivalent) in a scientific or engineering discipline

What's on Offer

•£40,000 - £45,000 salary

• Permanent, full-time role
• Monday to Friday, days with early finish on Fridays
• Responsible for 2 direct reports
