Sapien are currently recruiting for a Welder Fabricator to join a established UK manufacturer specialising in bespoke filtration and engineered process solutions based in Camberley. This is a hands on manufacturing role focused on the fabrication and welding of stainless steel housings and associated components used within specialist filtration systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Manufacture and fabricate stainless steel housings to specification
* Carry out TIG and MIG welding activities to a high standard
* Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
* Support the development of tooling and improved manufacturing methods
* Ensure all completed products meet required quality standards
* Work closely with production and inspection teams throughout manufacture
* Assist with maintenance and upkeep of production equipment
* Support the manufacture of bespoke and specialist engineered products
Experience Required
* Proven TIG welding experience on stainless steel
* Previous experience working within an engineering or manufacturing workshop
* Ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings
* Consistent and accurate fabrication and welding capability
* • Experience with sheet metal work and MIG welding would be advantageous
