A Utilities Subcontractor based in Hampshire is looking to recruit an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. Flexible working hours and a great office vibe are on offer here!
The company works across a range of utility and civil engineering projects and is looking for someone who is eager to develop their career within the sector. Previous NEC contract experience would be beneficial, however training and support can be provided for the right candidate.

The Role of the Quantity Surveyor
* Assisting with the commercial management of utility projects
* Preparing valuations, variations and final accounts
* Supporting subcontractor procurement and account management
* Cost reporting and forecasting
* Working closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget
* Assisting with NEC contract administration and commercial processes
Requirements of the Quantity Surveyor
* Previous experience working as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor within construction or utilities
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Eagerness to learn and develop within the utilities sector
* NEC contract knowledge preferred but not essential
* Degree qualified or equivalent preferred
Salary & Package:
* £40,000 – £50,000 depending on experience
