The Role

The Supplier Management Lead is responsible for establishing, managing, and optimising supplier relationships to ensure delivery of secure, compliant, and high-quality services.

You will oversee supplier performance, contractual governance, and risk management, acting as a key interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders while supporting regulatory compliance and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead supplier selection, onboarding, and relationship management

* Negotiate supplier contracts and commercial terms

* Monitor supplier performance against SLAs, KPIs, and obligations

* Conduct supplier reviews and audits to ensure compliance and quality

* Manage supplier risk assessments and due diligence activities

* Identify and mitigate supplier-related risks and issues

* Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, and business stakeholders

* Maintain audit-ready records of supplier performance and interactions

* Support budgeting and forecasting for supplier-related costs

* Drive continuous improvement and innovation in supplier management

* Act as escalation point for supplier service or contractual issues

* Ensure alignment with financial services regulatory requirements

* Support audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments

* Produce reporting, dashboards, and performance insights

* Support contract renewals and supplier scope changes

Experience & Knowledge

Essential:

* Experience in supplier management, procurement, or vendor governance

* Strong understanding of contracts, performance management, and risk

* Experience working in regulated environments (ideally financial services)

* Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills

* Strong analytical and reporting capability

Desirable:

* Experience with AML, KYS, or supplier due diligence processes

* Experience across IT, cloud, or managed service suppliers
