Proactive Personnel are currently looking for a CNC Operator to start work in Accrington.
This is an opportunity for an experienced CNC engineer with a strong background in milling and turning. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of Fanuc controls and be confident programming, setting and operating CNC machinery to a high standard.
Duties:
* Follow instructions related to the CNC program and machine fixtures
* Liaise with supervisors and colleagues to ensure a consistent workflow
* Ensure all components meet engineering drawings and customer specifications
* Adhere to the company’s AS9100 quality standards
* Daily maintenance on assigned machinery
* Comply with all Health & Safety regulations
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area
* Experienced in Mazak, Fanuc operating systems
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a CNC operating or manufacturing environment
* Candidates must have FANUC programming experience
* Attention to detail
* Good communication skills
* Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, for creating and modifying designs.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in fabrication techniques.
* Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is advantageous.
Working hours are Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 17:00pm
Pay is £18 - £19 per hour, depending on experience
