Design-Led Residential Projects | Revit | Huddersfield | Hybrid Working
Most Architect roles promise “exciting projects” and a “great team.”
This one actually delivers it.
Recruit Build is working with a hugely successful multi-disciplinary consultancy that has built an outstanding reputation within the residential and social housing sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Architect to join their collaborative in house Architectural Design Team of over 20 staff.
This is not a repetitive volume-production role.
You’ll be involved in genuinely varied projects ranging from contemporary new-build residential schemes through to complex high-rise refurbishment, recladding and building safety projects — giving you exposure to both creative design and technical problem solving.
The environment is modern, relaxed and design-focused, with a team that genuinely enjoys architecture, detailing and project delivery. You’ll work alongside experienced Architects, Technologists and consultants in a studio that values ideas, collaboration and progression.
What you’ll be doing:
* Developing creative, buildable design solutions
* Working on residential, regeneration and refurbishment projects across the UK
* Producing high-quality drawing packages and technical information
* Creating and coordinating Revit models and design documentation
* Attending client, consultant and contractor meetings
* Balancing strong design principles with technical delivery and compliance
* Playing an active role within a collaborative design studio environment
What they’re looking for:
* Qualified Architect with strong technical and design ability
* Residential or housing sector experience
* Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning processes
* AutoCAD experience essential, Revit experience highly desirable
* Someone who enjoys architecture, detailing, materials and design development
* A proactive personality who enjoys being part of a close-knit team
Why this role stands out:
* 9-day fortnight
* Hybrid working
* Bonus scheme
* Excellent long-term career security
* Fully funded CPD and professional development
* Modern office environment
* Interesting, technically challenging projects
* Genuine work/life balance without sacrificing career progression
£45,000 - £50,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + 9-Day Fortnight
If you’re an Architect looking for a role where you can genuinely enjoy the work, develop technically and creatively, and be part of a forward-thinking team — this is well worth a conversation
