Are you a passionate and experienced SENDCO ready to make a real impact in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated Secondary PRU SENDCO to join a forward-thinking and supportive team in Chesterfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a vital leadership role, supporting students with special educational needs and ensuring inclusive learning for all.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage SEND provision across the school
Coordinate and monitor EHCPs and provision mapping
Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external agencies
Support and train staff in best practices for inclusive education
Ensure the school remains compliant with SEND legislation and statutory requirementsRequirements:

SENDCO qualification - this is essential
Previous experience working in a similar SEND leadership role within a secondary school setting
A strong understanding of current SEND legislation and best practice
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
