Print & Production Technician (Large Format Graphics)
Northampton | Full-Time | £30,000 – £35,000 (DOE)

A specialist graphics company based in Northampton is seeking a skilled and motivated Print & Production Technician to join its growing team.

The business operates to exceptional standards across design, print, and installation. This is a fast-paced, high-performance environment focused on delivering world-class results.

The Role

This is a hands-on position combining large format print production with occasional installation work.

Key Responsibilities

*

Produce high-quality cut vinyl graphics

*

Operate HP & Epson large-format printers (roll-to-roll)

*

Use vinyl plotters and flatbed cutting systems

*

Laminate prints using roll-to-roll laminators

*

Prepare and set up artwork for production

*

Maintain strict quality standards and meet deadlines

*

Assist with vinyl installation and application when required

Essential Skills & Experience

*

2–3 years’ experience in the sign & graphics industry

*

Proficient in Adobe Illustrator

*

Experience with ONYX RIP software

*

Skilled in operating large-format print equipment (HP, Epson or similar)

*

Strong attention to detail

*

Well organised and capable of working independently

*

Able to perform in a fast-paced production environment

Desirable Skills

*

Vinyl installation / vehicle wrapping experience

*

Colour management and profiling knowledge

*

Familiarity with materials such as 3M and Avery

*

Understanding of large format file setup (bleed, scaling, resolution)

*

Interest in motorsport or automotive sectors
