Essential Experience: Care & Support Work: 6 Months in the UK
The role involves providing day to day support with daily living tasks, activities and making full use of community opportunities. As part of the care and support team you will assist in maintaining a safe and enabling environment that provides positive experiences to those living within the service.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
* A minimum of six months’ experience in care and support work within the UK
* Demonstrable experience supporting adults with learning disabilities
* A genuine commitment to enhancing the wellbeing of vulnerable individuals
* A flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns
Role Responsibilities
Successful candidates will contribute to a structured care environment by:
* Supporting individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and financial tasks
* Facilitating access to community-based activities and services
* Encouraging participation in social and recreational pursuits such as arts, music, and group events
* Promoting independence while ensuring safety and wellbeing
* Maintaining a positive, respectful, and inclusive living environment
Working Patterns
