Electrical Engineer
Our Client – Food Manufacturing
Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their engineering team, delivering reliable and efficient electrical support across a busy production site.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for maintaining operational efficiency by minimising downtime and ensuring all electrical systems are running safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site
Respond rapidly to breakdowns, minimising disruption to production
Complete all work to a high standard, safely and within required timeframes
Support and contribute to engineering maintenance strategies
Work closely with production to prioritise tasks in line with business needs
Maintain a clean, organised workshop and ensure all tools are safe and fit for purpose
Complete accurate job reports and maintenance records each shift
Support the Shift Leader to ensure the smooth running of operations
Source and order non-stock parts when required
Undertake any additional duties as requested by Engineering or Senior Management
What We’re Looking For
Proven electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing or production environment
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to breakdowns
A proactive, team-oriented approach
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
