Monitor construction and maintenance projects to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections to assess the quality of workmanship and materials used.
Identify and report any defects or non-compliance issues to relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with contractors, architects, and engineers to maintain project standards.
Prepare detailed reports on project progress and any issues identified.
Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to on-site.
Provide technical advice and guidance to project teams as required.
Assist in resolving any on-site issues to ensure timely project completion.Profile

A successful Clerk of Works should have:

A strong understanding of construction and building regulations in the not-for-profit sector.
Relevant qualifications in construction, surveying, or a related field.
Experience in inspecting and managing construction or maintenance projects.
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and address potential issues.
Proficiency in preparing clear and concise reports.
