LOCATION – BIRMINGHAM (NEAR THE JEWLLERY QTR)

AFTERNOON’S – MON/THURS – (2:30PM-11PM) FRIDAY – (7:30AM-12:30PM)

PAY £20-21 PER HOUR

Contek Recruitment are recruiting for a CNC Miller or CNC Turner for a client, specialising in the design, development, and production of bespoke components. With a commitment to innovation and quality, They serve a diverse range of industries, including aerospace, medical, and electronics.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set and operate CNC turning or milling machines, ensuring precision and quality in all tasks.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce high-quality components.
- Setting and Operating
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to maintain product standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues.

Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and report on progress.
- Knowledge/Expertise: Proficiency in setting and operating CNC machines with controls such as Fanuc, Heidenhain, Mazak, Haas, or Siemens. Experience in programming is advantageous but not essential.
- Innovation: A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn and implement new techniques.
- Business Impact: Ability to produce high-quality components that meet client specifications, contributing to the company's reputation for excellence.

Accountabilities:
- Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and within set timeframes.
- Demonstrate leadership by maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all operations
