Vehicle Technician
Our client, a reputable dealership in Plymouth, is actively seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their professional team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive technician to develop their career within a well-established, modern workshop environment.
As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional vehicle repairs and servicing to a diverse range of clients.
Key benefits of the Vehicle Technician role:
Competitive basic salary of up to £35,000, dependent on experience
OTE (On Target Earnings) up to £45,000 with performance-based bonuses
Working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
One in four Saturdays, paid at overtime rates
Overtime paid at time and a half
State-of-the-art workshop facilities
Opportunities for career progression within a reputable dealership
Supportive team environment focused on professional growthDuties of the Vehicle Technician:
Conduct routine servicing and complex repairs on a wide range of vehicles
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults accurately and efficiently
Use advanced diagnostic equipment, including systems for hybrid and electric vehicles
Ensure all work adheres to manufacturer and dealership standards
Maintain precise service and repair documentation
Advise customers on vehicle conditions and recommended maintenanceIndvidual requirements:
Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician with a proven track record
Experience working with hybrid and electric vehicles (desirable)
MOT Tester certification (preferred)
Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
