Data Delivery Lead
London – Hybrid
Up to £100,000 + Bonus
VIQU have partnered with a leading financial services organisation who are seeking a Data Delivery Lead with extensive insurance experience to manage multiple complex data programmes. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of enterprise-scale data initiatives, including platforms, products, and capabilities. Working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, you will ensure data solutions are delivered iteratively, reliably, and in line with business priorities, unlocking the full value of the organisation’s data estate.
Key Responsibilities of the Data Delivery Lead:
Lead the delivery of multiple complex data programmes, ensuring alignment with strategic business and data objectives.
Plan, oversee, and govern programme delivery, including scheduling, dependencies, risk management, and change control.
Manage the incremental release of data capabilities across enterprise platforms.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, interdependencies, and issues across multiple programmes.
Act as the primary liaison for senior stakeholders across business, technical, and operational functions.
Drive adoption of Agile delivery practices, embedding iterative and scalable approaches.
Lead engagement and change management for new data capabilities, ensuring smooth transitions into operational use.
Apply insurance domain expertise to ensure solutions comply with regulatory frameworks and risk management standards.
Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and product managers to deliver coordinated, high-quality data outcomes.
Key Requirements of the Data Delivery Lead:
Proven experience managing the end-to-end delivery of multiple complex data programmes.
Strong background in insurance or regulated financial services.
Experience setting up or delivering enterprise data platforms.
Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and Databricks.
Experience with analytics and BI tools such as Power BI.
Familiarity with data management principles and tools such as Microsoft Purview or Ataccama.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at senior levels.
Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and programme governance.
