An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate leader to join a primary school in Sheffield as Deputy Headteacher with SENDCo responsibilities.
The school is seeking a highly effective leader who can combine strategic leadership with a strong commitment to inclusion and SEND provision. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference to pupils, staff and the wider school community.
Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the strategic leadership and daily management of the school
*
Leading and developing SEND provision across the school
*
Ensuring high-quality teaching and inclusive practice for all pupils
*
Working closely with staff, parents and external agencies to secure the best outcomes for children with additional needs
*
Supporting school improvement priorities and pupil achievement
The successful candidate will:

Hold SENDCo experience or the NASENCo qualification (or be willing to work towards it)
*
Have leadership experience at Assistant Headteacher level or above
*
Demonstrate a strong understanding of inclusive education and safeguarding
*
Be an excellent communicator and team leader
*
Have a proven ability to improve outcomes for pupils
