Learning Support Assistant – Secondary School (Wembley, Brent)
Location: Wembley, London Borough of Brent
Job Type: Full-time (Term-time only)

Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential? Do you have a genuine interest in education and making a difference in the classroom? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a vibrant secondary school in Wembley, Brent.
The Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to support students with a range of learning needs. You will play a vital role in helping students access the curriculum, build confidence, and develop key skills.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with additional learning needs
Assist in the delivery of tailored learning strategies and interventions
Support students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs
Help manage behaviour positively and encourage student engagement
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to monitor progress and attainment
Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate
Experience working with children or young people (school-based or similar)
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, Degree in Education or related field) are desirable but not essentialWhat We Offer
